Attorney Traci Ahart of Austin, TX; repeat offender

The state of Texas presented Traci Lohmann Ahart with a law license in 1999 after she graduated from St. Mary’s University Law School.

The 269th Judicial District Court found Traci guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to her
  • Failed to keep clients informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to promptly comply with client requests for information
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Traci!)

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Traci’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. She previously received a complimentary suspension of her law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Traci by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 4-year suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Traci.

As we speak (ca. September 2016), Traci practices with the Law Office of Traci L. Ahart at 13785 Research Blvd in Austin, Texas.
