Attorney James Sims of Houston; ethical dwarf

The state of Texas presented James M. Sims with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from the University of Houston Law School.

The District 4-F Grievance Committee found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Jimmy found it acceptable to represent a client while at the same time he represented another client who was a witness against him (other client) in a substantially related matter.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2016), Jimmy practices at 440 Louisiana Street in Houston, Texas.
