Attorney Elaine Hubbard-Palmer of Houston; ethical dwarf

The state of Texas presented Elaine Lenita Hubbard-Palmer with a law license in 1997 after she graduated from Texas Wesleyan University Law School.

The District 4-C Grievance Committee found Elaine guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Client rejected settlement offer and instructed Elaine to file a lawsuit involving a personal injury matter
  • Client made several unsuccessful attempts to contact Elaine
  • Failed to comply with client information requests
  • Failed to file lawsuit on client’s behalf prior to expiration of statute of limitations

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Elaine by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Traci.

As we speak (ca. September 2016), Elaine practices with the 215th Civil District Court at 201 Caroline in Houston, Texas.
