Attorney Steven Grossman of Houston; ethical gremlin

The state of Texas presented Steven D. Grossman with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from the University of Houston Law School.

The District 4-A Grievance Committee found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected legal matters entrusted to him
• Failed to keep clients informed about status of their cases
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Stevie!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Stevie.
