Attorney Charles Pincus III of Virginia Beach, VA; check bouncer

The state of Virginia presented Charles Lowenberg Pincus III with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from Widener University Law School.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Wrote a number of checks on insufficient funds (rubber)
  • Failed to keep on deposit sufficient funds to pay bank service charges or fees
  • Failed to promptly notify client of receipt of client funds

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia Bar Disciplinary Board punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary 45-day suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in Virginia are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Charlie was never criminally charged for writing bad checks.

As we speak (ca. September 2016), Charlie practices at 1244 Perimeter Parkway in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
