Attorney Dama Chasle of Santa Monica; convicted shoplifter

The state of California presented Dama C. Chasle with a law license in 1984 after she graduated from Western State University Law School.

The California State Bar Court found Dama guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Dama pled no contest (guilty in effect) with a prior conviction after she stole an $86 shirt from a department store. She was convicted two years earlier of shoplifting two pairs of earrings from another department store. In that matter, Dama submitted a false affidavit to the State Bar

Because Attorney Misfits in California are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Dama was never criminally charged with perjury.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Dama by gifting her with a complimentary 60-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2016), Dama practices at 1507 7th Street in Santa Monica, California
