Attorney Nicholas Chavarela of Los Angeles; serial scofflaw

The state of California presented Nicholas Chavarela with a law license in 2007 after he graduated from Loyola University Law School in Los Angeles.

The California State Bar Court found Nicky guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Nicky illegally held himself out as entitled to practice law in six states where he was not admitted. In each case, he accepted loan modification cases. In addition, Nicky knowingly collected illegal fees.

And finally, after he refunded an illegal fee to one client, he wasn’t able to make restitution to the other victims after a federal court ordered a receive to seize his bank accounts.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Nicky by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2016), Nicky practices with Premier Lawyers PC at 2300 Westwood Blvd in Los Angeles, California.
