Retired Judge Emory Plitt Jr. of Havre De Grace, MD; ethical gremlin
The state of Maryland presented Emory A. Plitt Jr. with a law license in 1968 after she graduated from Washington and Lee University Law School.
The Maryland Commission on Judicial Disabilities found Emory guilty of the following misconduct.
After porking out at the public trough for fifteen years as a Harford County Circuit Court judge, Emory retired. To continue with his glutinous appetite for public pork, Emory then went on the visiting retired judge circuit. This allowed the Maryland Court of Appeals to appoint Emory to preside over cases throughout the state.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Emory by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. August 2016), Emory continues to receive assignments to sit on and does sit on cases throughout the state of Maryland compliments of the Maryland Court of Appeals. |
