Judge Dale Tillery of Dallas; serial scofflaw

The state of Texas presented Dale B. Tillery with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from St. Mary’s University Law School.

The Texas Ethics Commission found Dale guilty of the following violations of the Texas Election Laws.

  • Failed to properly disclose political contributions
  • Accepted political contributions from a corporation or labor organization
  • Failed to properly disclose political expenditures
  • Failed to provide documentation relating to contributions from out-of-state political committees
  • Failed to disclose principal occupation and job title of contributors
  • Made political contributions in excess of amounts permitted
  • Failed to disclose on finance reports the office he held

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for miscreants who violate campaign laws sitting on the Texas Ethics Commission punished Dale by gifting him with a complimentary $500 fine.

FYI: The fine is a total joke because Dale is allowed to pay the fine with campaign contribution funds compliments of the rules implemented by the comedians sitting on the Texas Ethics Commission.

As we speak (ca. July 2016), Dale continues to sit as Judge of the 134th District Court in Dallas, Texas.
