Justice Nelda Rodriguez of Corpus Christi; apologist for Judicial Bigot

The State of Texas presented Nelda Vidaurri Rodriguez with a law license in 1981 after she graduated from Texas Southern University Law School.

First and foremost, it should be noted that Nelda was previously fined by the Texas Ethics Commission and Judicial Commission for violating various ethics rules. A story about Nelda’s misconduct can be found by visiting the URL listed at the end of this article.

Over the past twenty-six years (1990 to 2016) Nelda has had her significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough. Apparently, over that period of time no self-respecting law firm in the Corpus Christi area was about to offer he a good paying job.

As a member of the Texas State Judicial Conduct Commission’s Special Court of Review, Nelda sat on a case involving the egregious misconduct of Justice of the Peace J. Kent Adams. A story detailing Adams’ misconduct can be found by visiting the URL at the end of this article.

It is patently clear that Judge Adams should have been tossed off the bench; however, given his bias in favor of bigoted judges, Nelda saw fit to punish Adams by presenting him with a complimentary admonition. An admonition is akin to a Mother making her son stand in the corner for two minutes because he wouldn’t eat his broccoli.

This is just another case that furthers the contempt Texans have the manner in which Judicial Misfits are made to answer for their misconduct.
