Attorney John Barnes of Chicago; ethical misfit

The state of Illinois presented John Willie Barnes with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from Northwestern University Law School.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Assisted another in the illegal practice of law
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (August 2016), Johnny practices with Barnes & Mitchell at 11 East Adams Street in Chicago, Illinois.
