The Law Society presented David Evans with a law license in 1996.

The Legal Practice Tribunal found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in unsatisfactory professional conduct
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Chose the interests of one client over that of another client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Queensland Bar punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary $7,500 fine.
