Attorney Dennis Oden of Merrill, OR; convicted liar

The state of Oregon provided Dennis L. Oden with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from Williamette University Law School.

The Oregon State Bar found Denny guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Denny was involved in a one-vehicle accident when he ran into a parked vehicle at a motel in Klamath Falls. However, Denny left the scene without advising the owner of the vehicle he hit. To cover up the accident, Denny called the police and falsely reported that his vehicle had been stolen.

Subsequently, Denny was charged with driving under the influence (DUI), criminal mischief in the second degree, failure to perform the duties of a driver when property is damaged, and initiating a false police report. He later pled guilty to criminal mischief.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Denny by gifting him with a complimentary 180-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2016) Denny practices at 16161 Taylor Road in Merrill, Oregon.
