Attorney Cynthia Young of Lathrup Village, MI; thieving slacker

The state of Michigan provided Cynthia M. Young with a law license in 2012.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #65 found Cindy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Satch!)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Handled matter w/o adequate preparation
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Revealed client secret or confidence
• Failed to refund unearned fee (thief)
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Knowingly disobeyed obligation under rules of a tribunal

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting Disciplinary Board punished Satch by gifting her with a complimentary 180-day suspension of his law license, which means her license will be reinstated in August 2016.

As we speak (ca. July 2016), Cindy will again practice in the Lathrup Village, Michigan area after her license is reinstated.
