Attorney Matthew Paladino of New Canaan, CT; ethical misfit

The state of Connecticut provided Matthew T. Paladino with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the University of Bridgeport Law School.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Matty guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Negligent failure in responding to ethics investigators (Up yours, said Matty!)
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Charged or collected unreasonable fee or unreasonable costs
  • Failed to expedite client litigation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Matty by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2016) Matty practices at 62 Harrison Avenue in New Canaan, Connecticut.
