Attorney Gerald Hecht of Danbury, CT; cheater, repeat offender

The state of Connecticut provided Gerald Hecht with a law license in 1959 after he graduated from Western New England University Law School.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Gerry guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Made false or misleading communication about legal services
  • Failed to honor advertised fee or range of fees for particular service
  • Charged or collected an unreasonable fee (cheater)

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Gerry’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Gerry by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2016) Gerald practices with Gerald Hecht & Associates at 65 Main Street in Danbury, Connecticut.
