Attorney Theodore Poulos of Plainville, CT; deadbeat, serial offender

The state of Connecticut provided Theodore Poulos with a law license in 1956 after he graduated from the University of Connecticut Law School.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Teddy guilty of the following misconduct.

Teddy’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to obtain written consent from client re: acceptance of a loan
  • Procured $50,000 loan from a client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Teddy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

  • Over the course of eight years failed to repay the loan

Teddy’s 3rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to obtain written consent from client re: acceptance of a loan

  • Wrote check for $86 on insufficient funds account (rubber)

Because Attorney Misfits in Connecticut are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Teddy was never criminally charged for writing bad checks.

As we speak (ca. July 2016) Teddy practices at 58 West Main Street in Plainville, Connecticut.
