Judge Christine Ward of Pittsburgh, PA; drunken loser

The State of Florida presented Christine A. Ward with a law license in 1986 after she graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Law School.

Former Gov. Ed Rendell was duped into appointing Christy as an Alleghany County Common Pleas Court judge in 2003. Christy didn’t receive the appointment because she was the most qualified attorney in the Pittsburgh area. She received it because she had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

In one matter, Christy was charged with driving under the influence (DUI). After being stopped by a state trooper, Christy grabbed onto the trooper’s arm to keep from falling on her derriere.

State Trooper Daniel Beatty said that when he asked Christy if she had anything to drink, she said, “I did – too much.” When Trooper Beatty tried to perform a field sobriety test, Christy the Lush fell over.

After falling down drunk, Christy was arrested and taken to the trooper barracks in St. Margaret, where she refused three times to submit to a state-required blood test. Refusal of such a test can result in an automatic one-year driver’s license suspension. However, its highly unlikely that this punishment would be meted to out a drunken Judge.

In addition to the DUI charges, Christy also faces several moving violations, including careless driving.

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment Christy receives from the Judicial Conduct Board.

As we speak (ca. July 2016), Christine continues to sit (when sober) as an Allegheny County Common Pleas judge in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
