The Law Society presented with Colin Nasi with a law license in 1997.

The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal found Nasi guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to ensure client funds returned to client promptly
• Improperly withdrew client money from client account
• Failed to keep properly written up records at all times
• Failed to retain required records for at least six years

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Tribunal punished Nasi by gifting him with a complimentary £6,000 ($6,633) fine and ordered that he pay £16,000 ($17,688) in costs.
