Attorney Wade Leonard Jr. of Mocksville, NC; ethical leprechaun

The state of North Carolina provided Wade H. Leonard Jr. with a law license in 1972.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar has charged Wade with engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to timely submit mortgage payoffs
  • Failed to properly supervise office staff
  • Failed to perform quarterly three-way trust account reconciliations
  • Used entrusted client funds to pay other clients’ late fees
  • Split fee with non-lawyer assistant

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Wade by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Grievance Committee didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Wade.

As we speak (ca. July 2016) Wade practices at 34 Town Square in Mocksville, North Carolina.
