Attorney Samuel Beale of Houston; ethical gremlin

The state of Texas presented Samuel C. Beale with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from Oho State University Law School.

A panel of the District 4 Grievance Committee found Sammy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Repeatedly failed to complete obligations owed to clients
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to promptly comply with client requests for information

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Sammy by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Sammy.
