The Law Society of British Columbia presented Joseph H. McCarthy with a law license in 2007.

The Law Society of British Columbia found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Argued in courthouse with client and challenged him to a physical fight
• Disclosed confidential information of client
• Failed to return documents to client after being terminated

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Upper Law Society Committee punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary $6,000 fine.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Joey practices with the Joseph H. McCarthy Law Corporation at 3790 Alfred Avenue, in Smiths, British Columbia, Canada.
