Attorney Martin Johnson of British Columbia, CAN; potty mouth loser

The Law Society of British Columbia presented Brian D. Johnson with a law license in 1977.

The Law Society ofBritish Columbia found Marty guilty of the following misconduct.

• In one matter, Marty was involved in an altercation outside a courtroom with a police officer, who had previously arrested Marty’ s client and was a potential witness.

Marty asked him a question related to the charge, and the exchange between them became heated and volatile. They were reportedly “nose to nose,” and Marty responded to some remarks by saying“fuck you” to him. The officer then told Marty he was under arrest, placed him in handcuffs and took him down the hallway.

Subsequently, the officer sought to have charges laid against Marty for assault, but charges were ultimately not laid against Marty for assault or any other offense.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Upper Law Society Committee punished Marty by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license. 

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Marty practices with the Heritage Law Group at 830 Bernard Avenue in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.
