Attorney Lenore Verra of DC; thieving liar

The District of Columbia presented Lenore D. Verra with a law license in 1997.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Lenore guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Violated or attempt to violate Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induce another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Engage in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
  • Failed to communicate basis or rate of fee in writing to her client
  • Failed to deliver funds due to client
  • Recklessly misappropriated (stole) client funds
  • Failed to keep records of handling of client funds
  • Knowingly misrepresented (lied) to ethics investigators (Up yours, said Lenore!)
  • Induced client to make knowing misrepresentations in an affidavit (subornation of perjury)
  • Careless with the truth in responses to ethics investigators

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Court of Appeals Board punished Lenore by gifting her with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in DC are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Lenore was never criminally charged with subornation of perjury.

As we speak (ca. July 2016), Lenore practices in Washington, DC.
