Attorney James Flynt of Atlanta; slacker

The state of North Carolina presented James Alan Flynt with a law license in 1994 when he graduated from Campbell University Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Jimmy!)
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses
• Failed to promptly pay trust funds to his client
• Failed to keep clients informed of status of legal matters
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Grievance Committee didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Jimmy.
