Attorney John Freeman of Charlotte, NC; convict

The state of North Carolina presented John G. Freeman with a law license in 1997.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, while traveling through Polk County, Johnny stopped at a convenience store in Saluda, North Carolina. At the store, after purchasing a soft drink and superglue, Johnny had a verbal exchange with another customer, in response to which Johnny retrieved a shotgun from his vehicle and waived it in a threatening matter in the air.

After the police arrived they discovered that Johnny had inhaled glue vapors. Johnny was then arrested and charged with Going Armed to the Terror of the People and Inhaling Toxic Vapors. Shortly thereafter, Johnny pled guilty to Public Disturbance and Inhaling Toxic Vapors.

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2015) Johnny practices at 2338 Yadkin Avenue in Charlotte, North Carolina.
