Judge Robert Leonard of Marietta, GA; moronic scofflaw

The state of Georgia presented Robert D. Leonard with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from the University of Kentucky Law School.

Former Gov. Sonny Perdue was duped into appointing Bobby as a Cobb County Circuit Court judge in 2010. Bobby didn’t receive the appointment because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater Marietta area. He received it because she had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

Georgia Ethics Laws mandate that all judges submit an annual financial disclosure statement wherein the report their income, assets and who gave them money for their political campaigns. Failure to so act provides for a mandatory fine of at least $125.00 for each violation.

When Bobby was informed that he was in violation of the mandatory reporting rules, he responded by saying:

“I have found that the reporting schedule of the commission can be very confusing.”

This comment in and of itself proves that Bobby is a Monumental Moron (M&M) because the reporting schedule he claims is confusing merely requires him to file annually. Apparently, Bobby’s intellectual level prevents him from understanding that “annual” means “every year.”

As we speak (ca. July 2016) Bobby continues to sit as a Cobb County Superior Court judge in Marietta, Georgia.
