Attorney Jeffrey Pocaro of Fanwood, NJ; serial offender

The state of New Jersey presented Jeffrey R. Pocaro with a law license in 1973

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Jeff guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to communicate the basis or rate of his fee in writing
  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Jeff’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received one (1) complimentary reprimand, one (1) complimentary censure, and a complimentary one-year suspension of his law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2016) Jeff practices 141 South Avenue in Fanwood, New Jersey.
