Attorney Jonathan Roberts of Norwalk, CA; imbecile, repeat offender

The state of California provided Jonathan Edward Roberts with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from Western State University Law School in Fullerton, California.

The California Bar Court found Jonny guilty of the following misconduct.

Jonny’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to perform promised services on behalf of client
• Failed to perform legal services competently (imbecile)
• Failed to respond to client information requests
• Failed to promptly return unearned fees
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Jonny!)
• Failed to return client phone calls
• Failed to return client files

As a consequence of his misconduct the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Jonny by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the State Bar Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Jonny.

Jonny’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to substitute as counsel until 9 days before deadline for filing appellate brief
• Failed to file opening appellate brief on client’s behalf which led to appeal being dismissed
• Failed to file client criminal appeal after receipt of $20,000 for over six months

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Jonny by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.
