Attorney Joseph Gembala of Philadelphia; ethical dwarf

The state of New Jersey presented Joseph A. Gembala with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from Seton Hall University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Joey guilty of the following misconduct

• Failed to communicate the basis or rate of his fee in writing
• Engaged in recordkeeping violations
• Failed to comply with trust account transfer requirements

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

As we speak (ca. July 2016) Joey practices in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
