Attorney Andrew Dwyer of Newark, NJ; ethical leprechaun

The state of New Jersey presented Andrew William Dwyer with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from New York University (NYU) Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Mike guilty of the following misconduct

  • Engaged in gross neglect
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. July 2016) Andy practices with The Dwyer Law Firm at 17 Academy Street in Newark, New Jersey.
