Attorney Andrews Campbell of Bowdoinham, ME; ethical gremlin

The state of Maine presented Andrews Bruce Campbell with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from George Washington University Law School.

The Maine Board of Bar Overseers of the Andy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Violated or attempted to violate rules of conduct or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or do so through the acts of another
• Improperly advocated before a tribunal when he was likely going to be a witness
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Failed to terminate representation when required to so act
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maine Supreme Judicial Court punished Andy by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2016) Andy practices with the Campbell Law Office in Bowdoinham, Maine.
