The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) has found Joey guilty of the following misconduct

In October 2006, Joey requested and was granted transfer to disability inactive status by the Supreme Court in regards to his law license. However, Joey continued to practice law in New Jersey despite his claim of being disabled and despite the fact his law license had been suspended.

In fact, prior to the Court’s approval of his inactive status, he had received an admonition from the Office of Disciplinary Counsel for engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to take necessary steps to protect client interests after being fired
• Failed to expedite client litigation

Subsequently, the comedians sitting on the Supreme Court voted to reinstate Joey the Loser’s law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2016) Joey practices with Brian J. Smith & Associates PC at 607 Easton Road in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania.
