Judge Brent Hall of Charleston, WV; ethical troll
It should be noted that Brent is not a licensed attorney nor did he attend law school.
The West Virginia Judicial Investigation Commission found Brent guilty of the following misconduct.

Conduct failed to promote public confidence in the judiciary
-
Abused the prestige of his judicial office to advance his personal or economic interests or that of others, or allowed others to do so
-
Exhibited bias or prejudice in performance of judicial duties
-
Allowed family, social, political, financial, or other interests or relationships to influence his conduct or judgment
-
Made public statement that reasonably was expected to affect outcome of or impair the fairness of a pending court matter
-
Participated in activities that interfered with proper performance of his judicial duties
-
Engaged in activities that would lead to frequent disqualifications
-
Participated in activities that would appear to a reasonable person to undermine his independence, integrity, or impartiality
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Investigation Committee punished Brent by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.
As we speak (ca. July 2018), Brent continues to sit as a Kanawha County Magistrate in Charleston, West Virginia.
