Attorney Richard Engelbrecht of Green Bay, WI; serial offender

The state of Wisconsin presented Richard A. Engelbrecht with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to hold client funds in trust account
• Failed for over 2 years to file client’s bankruptcy action
• Failed to file client’s divorce action for 3 years
• Failed to keep records re: trust account transactions
• Failed to submit full trust account records for review
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Dick!)

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Dick’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received two (2) complimentary reprimands for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2016), Dick practices at 1052 Shawano Avenue in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
