Attorney Nathaniel Simpson of Bloomfield Hills, MI; ethical gremlin

The state of Michigan provided Nathaniel H. Simpson with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from Wayne State University Law School.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #52 found Nate guilty of the following misconduct.

• Improperly held funds other than clients in office account
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Engaged in conduct that exposed legal profession to contempt (What’s new?)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Hearing Panel punished Nate by gifting him with a complimentary 179-day suspension of his law license, which means his license will be reinstated in October 2016. 

As we speak (ca. June 2016), Nate will again practice with the Simpson Law Offices PLLC at 4560 Brightmore Road in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, which is a suburb of Detroit after his license is reinstated.
