Attorney Robert Gutke of Logan, UT; imbecile

The State of Utah presented Robert W. Gutke with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from the University of Utah Law School.

The Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Utah Supreme found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (imbecile)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to provide client with accounting of charges for legal services
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Bobby!)
• Failed to comply with court order regarding discovery

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month term of unsupervised probation.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Utah Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Bobby the Ignoramus.
