Attorney Lumumba McCord of Columbus, OH; tax scofflaw

The state of Ohio presented Lumumba Toure' McCord with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the University of Toledo Law School.

The Columbus Bar Association found Danny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to maintain required client trust account
• Failed to advise client he wasn’t covered by malpractice insurance
• Failed to file federal income tax returns for 5 consecutive years
• Misconduct involved multiple violations
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Lumumba by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Lumumba.
