The state of California provided Paul Anthony Stabile with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from Laverne University Law School in Los Angeles.

The California Bar Court found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Allowed disbarred attorney to practice in his firm
• Engaged in illegally assisting a non-lawyer to practice law
• Clients filed legal malpractice case against Paulie
• Former clients awarded $177,500 in damages + $700, 000 in punitive damages against Paulie in regards to their legal malpractice claim

As a consequence of his misconduct the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2016), Paulie practices in Altadena, California, which is located in Los Angeles County.
