Justice B.T. Ebuta of Nigeria; ethical misfit

The Nigerian National Judicial Council found Justice Ebuta guilty of the following misconduct.

• Abuse of judicial power
• Engaged in suppression and illegal/forceful takeover of property
• Made an order based on ex parte (one-sided) application w/o sitting in court

As a consequence of said misconduct, the Judicial Council ordered the mandatory retirement of Justice Ebuta.
