Attorney Lee Salas of McKinney, TX; imbecile

The state of Texas presented Lee Salas with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the University of Chicago Law School.

A panel of the District 1 Grievance Committee found Lee guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Neglected client’s personal injury claim
  • Accepted personal injury matter when he knew or should have known was beyond his competence to handle (imbecile)
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to promptly comply with client requests for information

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Lee by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Lee.

As we speak (ca. June 2016), Lee practices at 202 West Davis Street in McKinney, Texas.
