Attorney Francisco Guzman of El Paso; repeat offender

The state of Texas presented Francisco Javier Guzman with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from Texas Southern University School of Law.

The District 12 Grievance Committee found Franny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to keep clients informed of status of legal matters

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Franny’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Franny by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 12-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Franny.
