Attorney Roland Ferguson Jr. of Sulphur Springs, TX; repeat offender

The  state of Texas presented Roland M. Ferguson Jr. with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from Oklahoma City University Law School.

A panel of the District 1 Grievance Committee found Andy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of case
  • Failed to promptly respond to client information requests

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Roland’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received one (1) complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Andy by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 12-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Roland.

As we speak (ca. June 2016), Roland practices at 1804 Woodbridge Drive in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
