Judge Monica Guerrero of San Antonio; ethical dwarf, moron
Unfortunately, Monica Guerrero is a Judge of the County Court of Law No. 7, in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.
As is the case with the vast majority of Judicial Misfits, Judge Monica Guerrero has dedicated her entire legal career porking out at the public trough. After obtaining her law license in 1994 from the Kansas School of Law, Judge Guerrero spent the next eight (8) years as an Assistant DA (aka, gopher) in Bexar County. In 2003 she assumed the throne as a judge in San Antonio and primarily hears domestic violence cases and other misdemeanor cases.
In 2009, the Texas Judicial Commission found Judge Guerrero guilty of the following misconduct:
Judge Guerrero’s Laughable Defense re: Letter
Judge Guerrero admitted that she signed he letter to AART “Monica E. Guerrero, Judge, County Court at Law #7.”
Despite this admission, Guerrero had the chutzpah to testify before the Commission that although she did in fact sign the letter, she did not write it. She further testified that she only agreed to sign it “under duress.” (Applause – Laughter!!!)
Judge Guerrero then went on to testify that she “merely edited the letter for grammar and punctuation,” and that she was not responsible for its con tents or the impression it may have given to AART.
Obviously, Monica missed her calling as a standup comedian. Signed the letter “under duress” you say Monica? How is that even remotely possible?
The enablers on the Texas Judicial Commission punished Monica by gifting her with a complimentary Admonition. Whewee, I bet that really hurt, right Monica?
Sadly, this certified loser remains as a judge in San Antonio.
