The state of Ohio presented Edward Joseph Elum with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Ohio Northern University Law School.
Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Eddie guilty of the following misconduct, which is detailed in another article regarding Eddie that can be found at the URL at the end of this article.
This this isn’t Eddy’s First bite at the Judicial Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension from the bench. An article detailing said misconduct can be found by visiting the URL at the end of this article.
Rather than face the prospect of actually having his law license suspended this time or even the remote possibility of having it revoked, which would result in him permanent removal from the bench, Eddie the Loser entered into a plea agreement with the enablers of Judicial Misfits at the Office of Disciplinary Counsel.
The sham agreement would provide Potty Mouth Eddie to receive a complimentary reprimand. This is equivalent to a Soccer Mom yelling at her son acting badly on the soccer field.
All that’s left now is to see if the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court agree with the enabling partners at the Office of Disciplinary Counsel and agree to provide Eddie with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. May 2016), Eddie continues to sit as a Massillon Municipal Court judge in Massillon, Ohio.
