The state of Oregon presented David C. Noren with a law license in 1985.

The Oregon State Bar found David guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.
