Voter ID laws lead to Conservative election victories

After serving several undistinguished years as a loser U.S. Senator from South Carolina, Jimmy was given a job as president of the Heritage Foundation.

In a recent (later April 2016) interview with a St. Louis right-wing talk show host and resident comedian Jamie Allman, Jimmy decided to speak the truth regarding Republican voter I.D. laws, which are designed to suppress the vote of minorities.

Jimmy then attacked Virginia Gov. Terry McAullife’s action to restore the voting rights of Virginians who had served time for felonies. Jimmy responded that Gov. McAuliffe’s action was “awfully suspicious” and claimed it was a Democratic plan to get votes from “illegals” and through “voter fraud.”

Jimmy then told Allman’s intellectually infirm listeners:

  • “Well, it’s awfully suspicious coming into a big election in a state where it’s actually pretty close.”
  • “I haven’t seen an complete analysis here, but the left is trying to draw votes from illegals, from voter fraud, a lot of different things, so this kind of fits right in to trying to find another group that they can basically count on to vote their way.”

Jimmy went on to say:

  • “So it’s really a bigger issue and that’s why the left fights voter ID or any kind of picture ID to know that it is actually a registered voter who’s voting.”
  • “And so it’s something we’re working on all over the country, because in the states where they do have voter ID laws you’ve seen, actually, elections begin to change towards more conservative candidates.”

Of course lying to white southern voters in 2012 and 2014 that a GOP congress was going to defund Obamacare, make abortion illegal and pass laws making gay marriage illegal to get their votes is quite acceptable to losers like Jimmy and those of his ilk.

Jimmy is just the latest Republican to admit that Voter I.D. laws are solely intended to suppress the votes of African-Americans, Latinos and college students to assure GOP victories at the polls.

Instead of lying that Voter I.D. laws are passed to eliminate non-existent in-person voter fraud, Jimmy and those of his ilk should just go ahead and pass new laws making it illegal for anyone other than white born-again Christian Evangelicals to vote in the future.
