Attorney John McGann of Fairfax, VA; ethical misfit

The state of Virginia presented John Lydon McGann with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from Catholic University Law School.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to explain matter necessary to allow client to make informed decisions regard the representation
  • Failed to advise client of status of legal matter
  • Failed to communicate with client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia Bar Disciplinary Board punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2016), Johnny practices at 4101 Chain Bridge Road in Fairfax, Virginia.
