State Attorney William Cervone of Gainesville; champion for convicted Perv

The state of Florida provided William Cervone with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from the University of Florida Law School.

In one matter, Billy decided it was acceptable to testify as a “character witness” on behalf former Assistant State Attorney William Ezzell of Gainesville to have his law license reinstated. Ezzell pled no contest to video voyeurism, a felony in the third-degree.

In his testimony on behalf of the Perv’s effort to have his law license reinstated, Billy laughingly stated: 

• Bragged on the Perv’s ethics [what ethics is this fool speaking of?]
• Very comfortable with his reinstatement

Hopefully, the Perv reimbursed Billy for the costs he incurred in purchasing a pair of Industrial Strength Knee Pads for him to use while testifying on his behalf.

As we speak (ca. February 2016), Billy is employed as the State Attorney for the 8^th Judicial Circuit in Gainesville, Florida.
