Travis County, Texas DA Rosemary Lehmberg – one of the good gals

Travis County DA (Austin) Rosemary Lehmberg, a Democrat replaced long time DA Ronnie Earle. Ronnie Earle was famous for investigating and/or prosecuting public corruption without regard for one’s party affiliation. Put simply, if an alleged miscreant was a Democrat or Republican it made absolutely no difference to Mr. Earle.
Luckily for the citizens of Texas, Ms. Lehmberg has continued to act apolitical when it comes to going after corrupt public officials in Texas.
Would any reasonable Texan regardless of his/her party affiliation demand and/or expect less of her? Patently, if it were discovered that Ms. Lehmberg gave the proverbial “wink and a nod” to alleged corruption involving a Democrat holding public office, then her credibility would be totally worthless and rightfully so.
I personally applaud (and I don’t do it to frequently folks!) Ms. Lehmberg’s courage in continuing to so act.
To all my friends/acquaintances in the Lone Star State, regardless of your political beliefs, you should and I mean should feel quite lucky in having a DA who possesses the ethics that Ms. Lehmberg does.
Lastly, it is indeed comforting to know that there are some gals out there that take their oaths of office seriously in going after corrupt public officials regardless of their stature, standing in the community and most importantly there political persuasion. Put simply, some gals just "can't help it" if y'all know what I mean.
Keep up the good work Ms. Lehmberg!!
